It's About Looking and SeeingPhotography is a non-stop exercise in looking and seeing. In my pictures, I attempt to show what I see from the grand view to the small and intimate. Pictures can show the external world and also our interior worlds. A picture is only a moment in time, and captured quite specifically through the viewfinder. My photographs are subjective, and do not necessarily pretend to be the visual, objective "truth." They depict what I love, what I find interesting and beautiful, whether landscape, colors, forms, or even motion.

PORTFOLIO"Art is a way of life, a method of being, a way of perceiving the world." Tim Slowinski, 1978
There is an idea of "slow art," taking the necessary time to really examine an artwork, to let it speak to us. I believe the same experience is necessary when we are out in Nature, whether in the woods or a city. While hiking, it's important that I stop to look around, to try to see the essence of the place. If I'm fortunate, I might capture that feeling in that moment for a picture. These places are holy, and it is a worthy endeavor to attempt to share the experiences they provide.
